Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlović PhD., has attended the beginning of the reconstruction of the state road Šabac – Sremska Mitrovica, together with Acting Director of the PE “Roads of Serbia”, Zoran Drobnjak, the officials of the Mačva county and representatives of the Contractor and the PE “Serbian Railways Infrastructure”.
Ms.Mihajlović explained that it was a state road six kilometres long and that, depending on the weather conditions, at least three kilometres would be completed this year.
“Beside the local roads and railway crossings we are reconstructing, in November we are starting with the construction of the highway and the fast road Ruma-Šabac and Šabac – Loznica and that will be the crown of everything we do with President Vučić and the Serbian Government in order to provide each corner of our country with good quality roads“, Mihajlović pointed out.
Zoran Drobnjak, director of the PE “Roads of Serbia“, emphasized that, thanks to the Serbian Government and the line ministry, 22 km of roads have been constructed on the Šabac territory and that this year at least three kilometres would be reconstructed on this state road.
