Works on the construction of the Northern Bypass around Kragujevac are progressing according to plan.
On the first phase of the project, a section about 5 kilometers long, more than 90% of the works have been completed. At the same time, intensive works are being carried out on the second phase of construction, primarily on the bridge in the Petrovac settlement.
The new expressway will be 22 kilometers long and will enable safer and more efficient traffic at speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour. The project envisages the construction of 5 traffic loops and 24 infrastructure facilities, including 14 bridges, 5 overpasses and 5 underpasses.
The northern ring road is one of the most important infrastructure projects for Kragujevac and the region, and its construction will relieve city traffic and improve connections with the main roads.
