TRAFFIC SAFETY CARAVAN IN DOBOJ

On September 26, Doboj hosted the "Traffic Safety Caravan", a project of national importance that is being implemented for the first time in the Republika of Srpska in coordination with the institutions of the Republic of Serbia.

On the initiative of the Faculty of Transport and Communications in Doboj of the University of East Sarajevo and with the support of the City of Doboj, a project was successfully implemented by the Ministry of Interior with partners - PE "Roads of Serbia", the Traffic Safety Agency, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia, the Red Cross of Serbia and the National Driving Academy (NAVAK).

The goal of this important project is to raise awareness of all road users, especially young people, and to point out the importance of safe behavior and thus reduce the number of traffic accidents, and the evidence of that is the number of over 1,500 students who visited the Traffic Safety Caravan in Doboj.

Representatives of the PE "Roads of Serbia" distributed educational flyers, informed interested visitors about the activities and campaigns that the PE "Roads of Serbia" is implementing in order to increase traffic safety.

Also, all interested parties were informed about the advantages of Electronic Toll Collection and the integrated "Toll4All" system, with the help of which it is possible to pass through toll gates in Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia without stopping.

In order to exchange professional experiences and knowledge in the field of traffic safety, primarily to strengthen the education of all traffic participants in the field, a series of promotional and educational activities are planned as part of the Traffic Safety Caravan and in other cities of the Republic of Srpska.
