During the holiday season and increased traffic intensity on roads throughout the Republic of Serbia, and therefore an increased risk of traffic accidents due to driver fatigue, the Traffic Safety Agency, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Traffic Police Directorate, PE "Roads of Serbia", the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia, the company EKO Serbia and the Tourist Organization of Serbia, has been implementing the “Drive Fresh” campaign for the ninth year in a row.
As part of joint activities at EKO petrol stations throughout the Republic of Serbia, in addition to the “Drive Fresh” campaign, the promotion of the PE “Roads of Serbia” campaign is also underway, within which information flyers are distributed to visitors, while educational videos are broadcast on screens, all with the aim of improving traffic safety and informing road users.
The promotion is of particular importance during the summer tourist season, when a large number of domestic and foreign drivers use petrol stations every day, especially considering that the Republic of Serbia is an important transit country on European road routes.
Thanks to joint cooperation, road users receive useful information that can contribute to safer and more efficient driving, which is another step towards more responsible behavior in traffic and reducing traffic accidents.
