PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydro-meteorological Service tonight, on December 6th 2024, and during the night of 06/07 December 2024, from south-western Serbia, through the region of Rasina and Toplica, all the way to eastern and south-eastern Serbia, heavy rainfall is expected occasionally. Heavy rain is expected in the lower areas, and snow in the hilly and mountainous areas with an intense increase in the height of the snow cover by 10 to 20 cm, locally even more.
Also, according to the warning, caution is advised when driving due to expected reduced visibility and intense precipitation.
Precipitation is expected to stop tomorrow morning, on December 07th 2024, first in the southwest, and in the middle of the day in the south and east of Serbia.
Road crews are ready to act and respond according to the weather conditions.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obey speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
