The Public Enterprise "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydro-meteorological Service, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in the morning and afternoon, freezing rain is expected in some places, first in region of Bačka, Srem, Šumadija, as well as in the west and southwest of Serbia. In the afternoon and evening, similar conditions are anticipated in the Bor and Braničevo districts, as well as in the south of Banat.
Also, according to information from the Republic Hydro-meteorological Service, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in the Belgrade area, caution is advised due to local ice formation.
Road teams are on the ground and are ready to respond as needed.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obey speed limits and adjust their speed to the prevailing road conditions.
