PE "Roads of Serbia" is richer for another certificate from the group of ISO standards for the Energy Management System according to the requirements of the ISO 50001:2018 standard. The certification was carried out by the certification body "SGS Belgrade".
During the successful certification check, the representatives of the certification body checked the standard points through business processes in the company's business facilities that have an impact on the aspect of energy management.
The check confirmed that the requirements of the ISO 50001:2018 standard were met, which was confirmed by issuing a certificate that adds value to our company.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the Department for IMS and SPPP, which is the holder of the system part and system requirements of the ISO 50001:2018 standard, and the Department of Energy Management, as the holder of the technical part and technical requirements of the standard.
The implementation of the energy management system is important for improving energy performance because it is linked and integrated with the existing integrated management systems ISO 90001:2015 (QMS) and ISO 45001:2018 (OH&S).
The energy management system or ISO 50001:2018 is based on monitoring the consumption and use of energy in business operations and company processes. Constant analysis and monitoring of energy creates frameworks for its effective management and improvement of energy efficiency.
