ACTING DIRECTOR ZORAN DROBNJAK: RIGHT TUBE OF THE MUNJINO BRDO TUNNEL BORED

In the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Miloš Vučević, the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesić, the mayors of Čačak, Lučani and Požega Milun Todorović, Milivoje Dolović and Đorđe Nikitović and acting director of PE "Roads of Serbia" Zoran Drobnjak and his associates, the right tunnel tube of the Munjino Brdo tunnel was bored.

The Munjino Brdo tunnel is located on the section of the E-763 "Milos Veliki" highway, from Pakovraće to Požega. It is designed with two tunnel tubes, one for each direction of travel. The length of the left tunnel tube is 2755.75m, while the length of the right tunnel tube  is 2740.14m. The width of the road-way in the tunnel is 7.70 meters.

Transverse pedestrian passages are designed for pedestrians to cross from one tube to another in the case of an emergency in the tunnel, which can also be used by emergency service vehicles. Additionally, two tunnel emergency niches and extensions were designed for each tunnel tube for the removal of broken vehicles.
