PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to all road users to be especially careful because, according to the announcements of the Hydrometeorological Service, rain is expected tomorrow morning and partly during the afternoon, which will freeze on the ground in some places - first in regions of Bačka, Srem and Šumadija, then in the west and southwest Serbia, and in the afternoon and in the evening in Bor and Braničevo districts, as well as in the south of Banat.
The second level of readiness of Road service is in effect throughout the territory of the Republic of Serbia, and all available machinery is on the ground 24 hours a day, and road crews are ready to respond as needed.
All national roads of the first and second category, as well as approaches to border crossings and mountain centers are passable.
Due to wet roads and the appearance of ice, we appeal to drivers not to start journey unless absolutely necessary, and if they do, they must have winter equipment and chains and strictly obey speed limits.
