The Public Enterprise "Roads of Serbia" is ready and organized to service the increased traffic intensity on the roads in the Republic of Serbia, which is expected during the upcoming holiday, Statehood Day – “Sretenje”.
In order to ensure the safety of all road users, PE “Roads of Serbia” appeals to all drivers to plan their journeys in a timely manner, drive fresh and take breaks every two hours, as well as to keep a safe distance, respect speed limits and posted traffic signals.
We would like to point out that due to the expected low temperatures in the morning and in the evening hours, there is a possibility of forming black ice or a coat of glazed ice on the surface of roads, in some areas and we draw the attention of truck drivers in particular to not setting off on the road without mandatory winter equipment and to use chains in hilly and mountainous areas.
