The Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia” continuously carries out activities on the regular maintenance and protection of state roads of I and II category.
The rehabilitation of the state road of II A category number 106 from Kljajićevo to Bački Sokolac enters the third of four phases of work.
Currently, works are being carried out on the road section Telečka - Gornja Rogatica - Krivaja, length of 6.07 km.
The rehabilitation project involves widening the carriageway of the road outside settlements to a width of 6.5m, while in settlements the existing width of the carriageway is being maintained.
The lower layers of the carriageway structure are being reinforced with crushed stone aggregate and new load-bearing and wearing layers of asphalt are being made, while, at the same time the road shoulders are being reinforced with crushed stone aggregate and drainage ditches dug.
The planned completion date for the works is July 31st 2025 if weather and other conditions are favourable.
With the rehabilitation of the Kljajićevo - Bački Sokolac section, travel from Sombor to Bačka Topola will be more comfortable and, most importantly, safer.
