TRAFFIC SAFETY CARAVAN IN BELGRADE

The Ministry of Internal Affairs - Traffic Police Administration, in partnership with the Agency for Traffic Safety, PE "Roads of Serbia", the Automobile Federation of Serbia, the Red Cross of Serbia, the National Driving Academy and the local self-government, organized one of the first in a series of "Traffic Safety Caravans" on June 15, 2025, in the Park of Friendship, in the municipality of New Belgrade.

The "Traffic Safety Caravan" project aims to educate citizens, especially the youngest, about safe participation in traffic and the importance of complying with traffic regulations with the aim of fulfilling the general goal of the National Strategy for Traffic Safety of the Republic of Serbia for the period from 2023 by 2030, which is a reduced number of fatalities and seriously injured persons by 2030, compared to 2019, as well as the Vision of 0 children killed in traffic by 2030.

All interested visitors were informed about the activities carried out by JP "Roads of Serbia" with the aim of increasing traffic safety and educating all participants through 7 educational campaigns that have been launched so far:

“3 seconds a lifetime”

“Don't drive in the stop lane, don't stop life”

“Don't block the stop sign, don't stop life”

“A sign means life”

“Do not destroy a traffic sign - a sign means life”

“We are not alone in the tunnel”

“Safely through the tunnel”

Citizens were given educational material, flyers with clear and graphic instructions and advice on what needs to be done in order to raise traffic safety to a higher level.

The toll collection sector informed interested citizens about all the benefits of electronic toll collection, about passing without stopping, about the speed and comfort of travel, discounts, and especially about the new "Toll For All" application, which represents an integrated system of electronic toll collection in the region, without stopping at toll booths, without the need to exchange currencies or top up TAG devices.

One TAG without stopping through four countries - Serbia, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia.

A game was also organized, in which 15 TAG devices - "Toll For All" were distributed to winners.

Those interested were also able to buy or reconfigure a TAG device on the spot, as well as get answers to all questions related to the "Toll For All" application, TAG devices, etc.
