In order to continue cooperation on the construction of the E-763 highway, Belgrade-South Adriatic, on September 13, 2024 in Podgorica, acting director of PE "Roads of Serbia" Zoran Drobnjak and the executive director Miodrag Poledica, met with Montenegrin officials, Minister of Transport Maja Vukićević, director of the Traffic Administration Radomir Vuksanović and the executive director of the company "Monteput" ltd. Milan Ljiljanić.
The meeting is a continuation of successful cooperation and conclusions from the meeting held with the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia, Goran Vesić.
The common goal is the complete construction of the highway from Belgrade to Bar, which will improve economic cooperation and good neighborly relations between Serbia and Montenegro in the best possible way.
At the meeting, there was an exchange of experience and challenges that accompany the implementation of large infrastructure projects, and it was agreed to intensify activities on defining technical issues: determining the route of the road, contact points, joint border crossings and other important issues, in order to create the preconditions for the start the works on the construction of the highway in the shortest period of time and therefore on the traffic connection of the two countries.
