PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to the road conditions, because according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, snowfall and the formation of a snow cover are expected on Friday, November 22, 2024, in the afternoon, in the evening and during the night towards Saturday, November 22 to 23, 2024.
On Friday, November 22, 2024, due to the movement of a cold front in the middle of the day and in the afternoon with local heavy precipitation, a significant change in weather is expected, a noticeable cooling, wind turning to a moderate and strong north-westerly and the transition of rain to snow, which will, in addition to the north of Serbia, cause the formation of a snow cover , from 5 to 10 cm in the lower areas and from 10 to 20 cm, locally and more, in hilly and mountainous regions.
The cessation of snowfall is expected in the evening in Vojvodina, and during the night in most other parts of Serbia.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obey speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
