Svetlana Miljuš, Assistant Director of the Traffic Safety Agency, emphasized the importance of implementing the "Drive Fresh" campaign and appealed to all drivers to check the technical condition of their vehicles before driving, because only a correct car will bring them to their final destination safely. Also, they should plan their trip well, get information about waiting times at border crossings and toll booths, possible road works, and plan their breaks accordingly.

Vladan Nikolić, Assistant Head of the Traffic Police Administration, emphasized that all of us who are here today have an obligation to do everything in order to make the traffic safety situation more favorable in the rest of the summer. We are witnessing intense heat and, in that sense, unfavorable conditions for travel, which is why it is very important that both our and foreign citizens adhere to the recommendations that we have given through the "Drive Fresh" campaign.

Ljerka Ibrović, The head of the Public Relations Department of PE "Roads of Serbia", said that the joint performance of all institutions in the "Drive Fresh" campaign is extremely important, because only together can we reach the goal, which is the reduction of traffic accidents on the roads during summer months.

She pointed out that driver fatigue is a problem of the 21st century and is one of the biggest causes of traffic accidents, which is why it requires special attention, research has shown that tired drivers pose a great risk for road traffic safety, both for themselves and for others.

For the sake of greater visibility and drawing attention to road users, this year a raffle was organized on the social networks of the "Drive Fresh" campaign.

All participants in the prize draw will be given the opportunity to win a device for electronic toll collection - TAG, which enables the fastest passage through toll stations, without stopping and without contact, which significantly shortens travel time and represents a cheaper form of toll payment

Nebojša Mandić, The director of the AMSS Commercial Affairs Sector, pointed out that traffic safety is a collective responsibility and that we are obliged to behave responsibly and safely in traffic.

Vesna Zlatić, The assistant director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, reminded that every trip can be safe and secure, if each of the participants in the traffic obeys the traffic regulations and adheres to the recommendations of the "Drive Fresh" campaign.
