Department for Data Processing – ADP is responsible for automatic processing of data stored in the Central Platform for Toll Collection, the data center in Vrčin. The objective of the Department is to operationally monitor and ensure adequate technical human resources to meet all the requirements of the toll collection process in the Republic of Serbia |
The Department performs the following tasks within its scope of work:
- participates in the maintenance, development and implementation of software requirements related to the improvement of the central platform and automatic toll collection system.
- participates in the analysis and implementation of complex IT activities related to the processing of toll collection data that are refined and innovated when necessary for timely and accurate data processing.
- participates professionally and informatively in the development and improvement of the automatic toll-collection systems. .
- performs complex and specialized operational tasks of maintaining the existing and developing the future toll collection system.
- engages in the preparation, status monitoring, recording of consumption, and cross-check upon completion of the annual list of pre-magnetized PM cards for manual operation mode (MOM) in toll collection.
- checks anomalous cards delivered from the field (unreadable, non-magnetized, suspicious, BOX cards).
- responsibly prepares and enters the financial and traffic duties of tollbooth operators manually managing the toll collection.
- processes and issues monthly statements on dinar and foreign currency shortages recorded by cashiers, along with decisions on reimbursement of such shortages.
- collects, delivers, and checks data on payment cards.
- updates, enters, blocks, and reactivates ID codes and codes of persons employed as toll-collection operators (cashiers, supervisors, field inspectors, heads of divisions etc.).
- produces ID badges for all toll collection employees.
- processes, enters and modifies dinar and foreign currency price lists for toll collection.
- prepares official monthly, periodic and annual traffic and financial reports on toll collection.
- systemically and responsibly protects documentation and software data from unauthorized use. Operationally ensures permanent storage in electronic media and secures and protects automatic original encrypted data obtained from off-line processing against physical or any other damage.
- updates, processes, analyzes and verifies, for each individual document, the data obtained by automatic on-site processing.
- delivers information required by external bodies and authorities.
As of January 15, 2021, at the toll station Vrčin, the Center for Acquisition and Processing of Toll Collection Data (DATA Center) was put into operation.
