President of the Republic of Serbia, Alеksandar Vučić, together with the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlović, PhD, the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić, the Acting Director of the PE “Roads of Serbia” Zoran Drobnjak, representatives of local self-governments and contractors, has visited the works on the reconstruction of the section of II A category state road no.197, Rasno-Tuzinje - Karajukića bunari - Ugao - border of Serbia with Montenegro, near Sjenica, in the length of 12.86 km. The works in the value of 330 million dinars are financed by the PE "Roads of Serbia" and executed by the company "Novi Pazar put" A.D.
President Vučić then visited the works on the reconstruction of 20.5 km long section of the road from Novi Pazar to Tutin, in the value of 24 million euros, executed by the Turkish company "Taşyapı". The President has announced the signing of the contract for the construction of the motorway from Požega to Brnjica and Boljari, whose construction will bring Belgrade and Sarajevo closer to the inhabitants of the Pešter region.
90% of the reconstruction of the road Sjenica – Aljinovići has been done and the reconstruction of the road Novi Pazar-Raška will also be executed, the President Vučić said and added that, together with the works on those sections, a reconstruction of the road Raždaginja-Buđеvo has commenced, 9 km long and in the value of 295 million dinars.
