Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, prof. Zorana Mihajlović, PhD, the Acting Director Zoran Drobnjak, visited today the territory of the Municipality of Ivanjica, which suffered the most damage following the floods in June.
In the presence of the Head of the Municipality, Zoran Lazović, and the Commissioner of the Moravica District, Slobodan Jolović, they have visited the landslide Buk on I B category state road no.30 and the settlement Klisura on I b category state road no.21, Arilje - Ivanjica.
Mihajlović said that money from the state budget has been secured and that, in cooperation with the PE "Roads of Serbia", everything will be remedied in the forthcoming months.
"We will examine everything, including the two bridges in Ivanjica and, together with "Roads of Serbia", the local community and contractors, we will repair everything", Minister Mihajlović pointed out and explained: "First, we will make the designs in the next month and a half, and then we will deliver them. We will finance everything from the state budget because we are aware that local self-governments do not have enough money, not even for road maintenance, let alone when situations like this happen."
Acting Director Zoran Drobnjak said that, in accordance with the agreement with the Municipality, 26 locations were to be remedied and emphasized that the works would be intensified:
"It is a matter of great value, approximately 980 million dinars, and we are starting with work right away. We will try to do as much as possible until the end of the year, and the rest will be done at the beginning of next year.”

Minister Mihajlović pointed out that the Moravica District had had the biggest investments in road infrastructure in the previous few years: "We have invested 6.5 billion dinars in road maintenance only. We have commenced with the works on one of the most difficult sections, Preljina - Požega, and there will also be works on the route to Montenegro.”
The Commissioner of the District, Slobodan Jolović, and the Head of the Municipality of Ivanjica, Zoran Lazović, thanked the President of Serbia and the Government for everything they do for the Moravica District.
