PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydro-meteorological Service, on January 3, 2025, it is expected to that rain will frosty rain in the west of Vojvodina and the west Serbia, and then in other regions.
Also, on January 3rd 2025, in the afternoon and evening in the areas south of the Sava and the Danube in the lower regions, formation of snow cover of 2 to 5 cm high is expected as well as an increase in the height of snow on the mountains, especially in the west and southwest of the country (an additional 10 up to 15 cm, locally even more).
Precipitation is expected to stop in the afternoon in Vojvodina, in the evening in western Serbia, and during the night in other regions as well.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obey speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
