Construction of the bypass around Svilajnac with a new bridge is underway.
The bypass will be 10.8 km long. In the first phase, 3.1 km, i.e. 750 m from the Markovac side and 2.2 km from the Svilajnec side, will be constructed.
On the Markovac side, work is currently being carried out on the filling of the embankment on the route and the construction of pillar places, while on the Svilajnac side, overhead beams are being built on the pillar places, humus is being removed on the route, an embankment is being made and the foundation for the slope is being prepared.
The section of the bypass from Svilajnac extends to Visokog Stevana Street, which is also under construction at this stage, and which will connect the bypass directly with the town of Svilajnac.
