“Roads of Serbia” appeals to all road users to be especially careful and to adapt their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydro-meteorological Institute, today, January 16th, 2026 during the morning and forenoon, the occurrence of rain that will freeze to the ground is expected in the area of eastern Serbia (Timočka and Negotinska Krajina, including the surrounding hilly and mountainous regions).
We appeal to road users to use winter tires, not to set off on the road without winter equipment and chains, to drive carefully, obey speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
