TRAFFIC SAFETY CARAVAN IN VRNJAČKA BANJA

The traffic safety caravan was successfully implemented in Vrnjačka Banja on August 14, 2026. where, through the joint activities of institutions and partners, messages about the importance of responsible behavior and traffic safety were promoted to citizens and visitors.

"Since the beginning of the project, a project of national interest, from year 2024 until now, we have visited 50 local governments together, and our goal is to reach every part of Serbia and contribute to our country being among the ten safest in Europe. Drivers are informed of the dangers brought by fatigue, high temperatures, long-term driving without a break, inappropriate speed and loss of concentration, with the recommendation to plan ahead and take a break at least every two hours” said Ljerka Ibrović, head of the Public Relations Department of Putevi Srbije.

“At ours stand, as well as at the stands of our partners, in direct contact with citizens, we distributed educational material and flyers, so that young people and all other citizens can gain experiences that will be invaluable for safe participation in traffic. Citizens were also presented with the advantages of Electronic Toll Collection, while those interested could buy, top up or reconfigure a TAG device on the spot”, Ibrovic stated.

The Traffic Safety Caravan continues its activities throughout Serbia, visiting numerous cities and promoting traffic safety.
