"Roads of Serbia" appeals to all road users to be especially careful and to adjust their speed to the road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydro-meteorological Institute, in Timočka Krajina on January, 24th, 2026, during the second part of the day, the occurrence of rain that will freeze to the ground or granular snow is expected, and ice is also expected locally.
Also, according to the RHMI's warning, on Sunday, January 25, windy, moderate and strong south and southeast winds will blow in the territory of Serbia, with storm gusts in the Košava area and on the mountains, and short-term and hurricane-like winds in the south of Banat - up to 100 km/h. On Monday, the wind will weaken and turn to the northwest.
We appeal to road users to use winter tires, not to set off on the road without winter equipment and chains, to drive carefully, respect speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
