Work continues on the construction of the Northern Bypass around Kragujevac.
The expressway, 22 kilometers long, designed for speeds of up to 100 kph, will have five interchanges and 25 buildings, bridges, overpasses and underpasses.
The detour begins at the fifth kilometer of the Kragujevac - Batočina road, at the Jovanovac interchange, and ends in Dragobraća, at the beginning of the planned Kragujevac - Mrčajevci highway.
The project is being built in two phases. The first phase includes works from the Jovanovac interchange to the Petrovac interchange, and the second - the construction of the route from the Petrovac interchange to Dragobraća.
On the Petrovac interchange, works are currently being carried out on the entrance and exit ramps, as well as on the three roundabouts that will connect the Petrovac settlement and the Cvetojevac work zone with the Northern Bypass around Kragujevac.
Also, in the first phase, three screw constructions are being made, i.e. steel underpass, while works on hydro-technical insulation, public lighting and water supply systems are also being carried out at the same time.
At the Jovanovac interchange, work is currently being carried out on the construction of pillars and main beams of the 100m long bridge that connects the Northern Bypass and the state road Batočina - Kragujevac - Kraljevo.
More than 4 km, out of a total of 5 km of the first section of the Northern Bypass around Kragujevac, has been paved.
