Putevi Srbije informs the public that on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. the Moravian Corridor section (highway E-761): Pojate - Preljina, from the interchange "Adrani" to the existing interchange "Preljina" ("Čačak - Sever"), in a length of 28.71 km was opened to traffic.
Kraljevo and Čačak are connected by putting the mentioned section into traffic, and 100.34 km of the Moravian Corridor is now in operation.
On this section, 16 bridges, 4 overpasses and 7 underpasses were built, two facilities for the hydro-technical development of the Western Morava were built in length of 25.25 km and 4.85 km of local roads.
The highway is designed for a calculated speed of 130 kilometers per hour, with a total width of 30 m (which is almost 2 m wider than other motorways in the Republic of Serbia), which will provide additional comfort and increase traffic safety.
The Moravian Corridor is the first digital corridor in Serbia, which enables fast and reliable exchange of information, with the aim of safe traffic.
Upon completion of the last section from Adrani to Vrba, the Moravian Corridor will be 112.37 km long and will connect Pojate and Preljina, i.e. Raški and Moravički districts.
The new highway significantly contributes to the development of local municipalities and the areas through which it passes, and represents a huge opportunity for the development of local economy and industry. The benefits of the construction will be directly felt by the residents of Ćićevac, Varvarin, Kruševac, Trstenik, Vrnjačka Banja, Kraljevo and Čačak.
