PE “Roads of Serbia” informs the public that highways and all state roads of the first and second order, as well as approaches to border crossings and mountain centers, are passable for traffic.
There is some wet snow up to 5 cm in the territory of Kolubara, town of Novi Sad, Pančevo, Požega, Subotica, Užice and Zrenjanin.
There is a ban on tow trucks in the territory of Kruševac, Novi Pazar, Valjevo, Ivanjica and Fruška Gora (Iriški venac).
All available machinery and road crews are on the ground ready to react as needed.
We have sufficient quantities of salt, stone aggregate and paddy.
PE “Roads of Serbia” appeals to all participants not to go on the road without mandatory winter equipment, because today in the east and southeast of Serbia, rain is expected to freeze on the ground, while in the area of northern, western, central and southwestern Serbia, intensification of snowfall and an increase in the height of the snow cover by 10 to 15 cm, locally and more, is expected in the afternoon and evening.
If you go on the road, be especially careful, respect the speed limits and adapt the driving to the road conditions.
