Putevi Srbije continues to carry out activities related to the improvement of traffic safety and works systematically to raise the level of awareness of road users.
With the start of the 2025/2026 Winter Service, Putevi Srbije also promoted new educational campaigns:
With the educational campaign “Use winter equipment! Don't let the winter drive you!”, Putevi Srbije wants to influence road users to use winter equipment in the period from November 1 to April 1 next year provided by the Road Traffic Safety Act and by-laws if there is snow, ice and ice on the roads.
The campaign is being carried out to highlight the importance of winter equipment and the possible consequences of not using it.
With the educational campaign “Winter service works for you! Drive patiently!” Putevi Srbije wants to influence the behavior of road users to be careful and adjust their driving so as not to interfere with the operation of winter maintenance vehicles.
During the interventions of snow removal and salt spreading on the state roads of I A category, the vehicles in question move independently or in pairs.
Traffic participants must not overtake winter maintenance vehicles, because their irresponsible behavior can cause a traffic accident.
Bearing in mind that a large number of road users in our country do not behave safely, that is, in accordance with legal regulations, well-designed media campaigns can make a significant contribution to changing their behavior and overall reduction in the number and consequences of traffic accidents.
In addition to the undeniably positive influence on the behavior of drivers, the campaigns also confirm the active role of Putevi Srbije in improving traffic safety.
By conducting educational campaigns, through the education of all traffic participants, we influence the raising of awareness about the problems of traffic accidents, that is, drawing the public's attention to the importance and possibilities of improving the level of traffic safety, as well as the reduction of traffic accidents.
