International Road Federation in the Newsletter for September 2019 in its column “News from our members” published that the PE “Roads of Serbia” supported the EDWARD project, i.e. the European Day Without A Road Death, using the motto – Zero is much more than a number, on 26th September 2019.
The EDWARD Project starts its fourth year of implementation with the objective to realize at least one day without fatalities in traffic.
The Project has been initiated by the European Traffic Police Network (TISPOL) and supported by the European Commission.
On September 26th, warning messages concerning the road safety in English and Serbian were displayed by the PE “Roads of Serbia” on the gantries with variable message signs along the Serbian motorways.
