As regards publication in some media, in order to provide accurate information to the public, PE "Roads of Serbia" shall hereby announce the following:
By closing the toll collection system on E-75 motorway, section from Doljevac to Preševo, the safety of road users is not compromised because the works are secured with adequate temporary traffic signs.
Notice of commencement of works and traffic regime modification on Doljevac selo (village), Brestovac, Leskovac centar (center) and Bujanovac sever (north) interchanges has been sent to all media through an official announcement, published on the official website of PE "Roads of Serbia", on the Company's social pages, as well as on "Roads of Serbia" mobile app.
Please note that the distance travelled by road users is in no case increased by 20 to 30 km, as some media have announced.
- Any road user moving from Niš to Leskovac and wishing to exit the motorway at Leskovac centar (center) interchange, shall exit the motorway at Leskovac sever (north), which is the interchange preceding the above, while those moving from Preševo and wishing to exit the motorway at the same interchange, shall exit the motorway at Grdelica toll station.
- Any driver moving from Niš and wishing to exit the motorway at Bujanovac sever (north) interchange, shall exit the motorway at Vranje toll station, while those moving from Preševo shall exit the motorway at Bujanovac jug (south) toll station.
- Any road user moving from Belgrade towards Doljevac, Brestovac, Gadžin Han and Bojnik, shall exit the motorway at Niš jug (south) interchange. Traffic from Preševo to Doljevac, Brestovac, Gadžin Han and Bojnik shall be enabled through Niš jug (south) or Leskovac sever (north) interchange.
Such movement of vehicles outside the motorway may not significantly affect the distance travelled. Having exited the motorway, road users shall move along the main or local roads. Toll is not to be charged or collected for this road segment.
Please note that toll payment within closed system is made per kilometer.
The expected deadline for completion of toll station construction is July 2019.
