Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirović, together with the representatives from the PE “Roads of Serbia” and the Chinese company CCCC (China Communications Construction Company), has visited construction works on the section from Preljina to Pakovraće, as part of the motorway “Miloš Veliki”.
The Minister has visited the route in the length of 14 km, from the interchange Preljina, via interchange Pakovraće, to the entrance into the tunnel Laz, with the tunnel Trbušani as part of the roadway as well.
The works on the section from Preljina to Pakovraće, are making great progress, works are executed on all bridge structures as part of Segment III, almost entire roadway has been outlined and the paving of the test road section has been carried out. Works in the tunnel Trbušani, located also on the Segment III and in the length of 278 metres, are in the final stage as well.
“For the last few months, over 1,000 workers have been working here. This is a 500 metre section of test asphalt to see how the future road will look like”, Minister Momirović said, adding that, with the construction of this part of the motorway, the citizens of Čačak will be finally relieved, because the complete transit traffic to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro will finally bypass the centre of Čačak and provide easier and safer traffic on the city streets for the citizens.
