PE "Roads of Serbia“ in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of Serbia - Traffic Police Administration, Traffic Safety Agency, Auto Moto Association of Serbia, Tourist Organization of Serbia and the company "EKO Serbia", on January 18 and 19, 2024, on Kopaonik and Zlatibor, informed road users about the campaign "Make sure you are road-ready for the winter”.
The campaign aims to show drivers the importance of using winter equipment and preventive action in traffic. A special emphasis of this campaign is aimed at pedestrians, since every fourth person killed in traffic is a pedestrian.
The representatives of the campaign participants indicated that, during the winter period, when there is a possibility of ice and snow on the roads, the drivers should increase their caution, adequately prepare their vehicles and have mandatory winter equipment. Employees at the Koševi, Pakovraće and Preljina toll stations also took part and informed drivers by distributing flyers.
