PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, tomorrow January 19, 2024, in the morning hours the beginning of snowfall is expected, first in Bačka, Srem and in the west of Serbia, where a smaller snow cover will first form during the day. The snow will intensify in the evening and during the night south of Sava and Danube.
The end of snowfall is on Saturday, January 20, 2024 in the morning in western and central Serbia, and until Saturday evening in the south of the country.
From 10 to 30 cm of new snow is expected on the mountains, while a smaller snow cover will form in the lower areas.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obay speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
