PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to all traffic participants to be especially careful, respect speed limits and adjust their speed to road conditions, considering that according to the announcement of the Hydrometeorological Service, snowfall is expected in the evening hours.
Due to wet roadways and the appearance of low temperatures, ice formation is possible, especially on sections that extend along river courses, valleys, gorges, as well as on road structures.
Drivers are advised to use winter equipment and chains in hilly and mountainous areas.
PE "Roads of Serbia" notes that the Winter Service Headquarters and road crews are on duty 24 hours a day, so that all state roads in the country, in accordance with maintenance priorities, are passable and safe for traffic, adjusting the degree of preparedness to weather conditions.
