PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to all road users to be especially careful and adjust their speed to road conditions, because according to the forecast of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, it is expected to be cold and windy until the end of the day, occasionally with light and moderate snow, which will in most places cause the formation of a snow cover.
Tomorrow, in the morning, light snow is possible in places, in the afternoon it is expected to stop raining, and in the evening it will clear up a bit.
Currently, the second level of preparedness is in force on most state roads, except for the highway sections in the "Belgrade" and "Miloš Veliki" zones, where the third level of preparedness is in effect.
All available machinery is on the ground 24 hours a day, and road crews intervene in order to ensure the safe flow of traffic.
PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to drivers that, due to wet pavements and the occurrence of low temperatures, possible ice and low visibility on certain sections, they should not go on the road unless necessary and if they do, they must have winter equipment and chains in hilly and mountainous terrain , as well as to obey speed limits and adapt it to road conditions.
