PE "Roads of Serbia", for the sake of accurate and truthful information, announces that work is currently being carried out on the bridge over the Mlava River in Petrovac on Mlava, on the installation of asphalt expansion joints.
The installation of expansion joints on the bridge is part of the final works and, according to the technology of the works, it takes place after the completion of asphalting and test loading.
Asphalting on the bridge and trial loading of the bridge were completed on August 28, 2023, when the conditions for the safe flow of traffic across the bridge were met, and everything was for the sake of establishing communication between the two sides of the city as quickly as possible, which was difficult for almost a year.
Work on the installation of expansion joints will be carried out for a total of 3 days, starting today, September 1, 2023, until Sunday, September 3, 2023, while the traffic is operating in an alternating flow mode.
Traffic in the full profile of the road will be established on Sunday, September 3, 2023, about which the public will be informed duly.
