PE “Roads of Serbia“ appeals to traffic participants to be particularly cautious during driving and adapt their speed to the road conditions since, according to the warning issued by the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, on Saturday, 04.02.2023, and during the night as well, 04/05.02.2023, mixed precipitation is expected in the Serbia region, with snow in the mountains. In the areas south of the Sava and the Danube, the formation of a snow cover of 5 to 10 cm in height is expected, with new 10 to 20 cm in the mountains. Strong and stormy northwestern and northern winds will blow in the Serbia region, with the strongest gusts in the north of Serbia and from 20 to 25 m/s in the mountains, so blizzards, snowstorms and snow drifts are expected in the mountains.
Also, on Saturday, 04.02.2023, according to the warning, there will be sleet and snow, with the formation of a smaller snow cover of 2 to 5 cm in height in the Belgrade area, in higher and southern suburban areas. The precipitation is expected to cease in the evening. In the middle of the day, in the Belgrade area, it will be windy with strong gusts, and stormy western and northwestern wind.
We advise drivers to use winter tires, obey the speed limits and adapt their speed to the winter road conditions.
