PE Roads of Serbia informs the public that due to the holiday – the Statehood Day Sretenje, increased traffic volume may be expected on the state roads.
Roads of Serbia are taking all necessary measures to provide faster passing of vehicles, toll station operations are intensified, and all channels for toll collection and card distribution are operational 24 hours a day, without break.
The number of toll booth operators is increased to provide unhindered passing of vehicles in the circumvents of increased traffic volume on the motorways of the Republic of Serbia.
The fastest passage through toll stations is enabled by electronic toll collection (ETC), which significantly reduces travel time and enables passage of vehicles without stopping, and at the same time it represents a cheaper method of toll payment.
Traffic participants are informed in real-time on possible delays at toll stations, traffic closures, road conditions, weather conditions, and other useful facts using gantries with variable message signs on the motorways and the “Roads of Serbia” application for mobile phones.
