In the organization of PE "Roads of Serbia", the Sector for Traffic Control Information Systems and the Chamber of Engineers of Serbia, 30.11.2023. Mr. a professional visit of members of the "Home Section of Engineers of Other Technical Professions of the Regional Center Belgrade" of the Chamber of Engineers of Serbia, to the Tunnel Operational Center "Manajle" and the Regional Center “Niš” was carried out.
The presentation on the topic "ITS in tunnels" was held by Ivan Terzić, M.Sc.T&T.E. and Head of the Traffic Surveillance and Management Department, spoke about the law regulation in the area of specificity and aspects of safety, on the content of the Road Tunnel Directive 2004 /54/EC and the design of tunnel equipment.
In the Regional Center "Nis", Zoran Borojević, M.Sc.T&T.E. and Head of the Department for Development and Implementation of ITS, gave a presentation on the topic "Designing systems for monitoring and dynamic traffic management (ITS)" and spoke about the concept of developing Intelligent Transport Systems and development of unique platform for monitoring and managing traffic.
