Today, August 23, 2023, in the building of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in the presence of Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesić, a Memorandum on Business Cooperation was signed between the PE “Roads of Serbia” and the company “Monteput“ LLC from Montenegro. The Memorandum was signed by Assistant Director of the PE “Roads of Serbia”, Miodrag Poledica, and Executive Director of the company "Monteput” LLC, Milan Ljiljanić.
The aim of the Memorandum is exchange of experiences between experts from the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro in the area of technology application, software solutions and programs, adopted information and documents in the area of designing, construction, management and maintenance of motorways, development of safety and environmental protection.
A special emphasis is on the exchange of experiences regarding the application of toll collection systems, defining the project implementation models, with the aim of adjusting technical solutions in order to achieve complete interoperability of devices for electronic toll collection between the two countries.
Expert teams from the two countries already work on the integration of toll collection systems so that a single TAG device for electronic toll collection can be used in both Serbia and Montenegro.
