PE “Roads of Serbia“ is ready and organized for the summer season and increased intensity of traffic on Serbian motorways.
Work of toll stations has been intensified, all lanes for toll collection and distribution of cards are operational 24 hours a day without a break. The number of toll operators at toll stations has been increased in order to provide uninterrupted passage of vehicles due to heavier traffic on the motorways in the Republic of Serbia.
The fastest passage through toll stations is enabled by electronic toll collection (ETC), which significantly reduces travel time and enables the passage of vehicles without stopping, and at the same time represents a cheaper method of toll payment.
Traffic participants are informed on possible delays at toll stations, traffic suspensions, the state of the carriageway, weather and other necessary information in real time through variable message signs on the motorways and the application for mobile phones “Roads of Serbia”.
