We appeal to traffic participants to be particularly cautious during driving and adapt their speed to the road conditions since, according to the warning issued by the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia, on Monday, 09.01.2023, strong and stormy southeastern wind (košava) will blow, with the strongest gusts in the south of Banat – more than 24m/s, and up to 15 m/s in Belgrade. On Tuesday, 10.01.2023, the wind will turn into a moderate and strong northwestern one.
Also, according to the warning, on Tuesday, 10.01.2023, due to lower temperatures, the rain will turn into snow, first in the mountains, and in the evening and during the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, on 10/11.01.2023, in the lower regions of central, west and south Serbia, with the formation of a snow cover up to 5 cm high, and from 10 to 30 cm on the mountains.
We advise drivers to drive carefully, obey the speed limits and adapt their speed to the road conditions.
