Roads of Serbia are ready and organized for the increased traffic intensity on motorways, expected during the weekend when Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas.
The work of toll stations has been intensified, and all lanes for toll collection and distribution of cards are operational 24 hours a day without a break.
The number of toll operators at toll stations has been increased to provide uninterrupted passage of vehicles due to heavier traffic on the Republic of Serbia motorways.
The fastest passage through toll stations is enabled by electronic toll collection (ETC), which significantly reduces travel time and enables passage of vehicles without stopping, and at the same time represents a cheaper method of toll payment.
Traffic participants can obtain real-time information on possible delays at toll stations, traffic closures, carriageway conditions, weather conditions, and other useful facts using the gantries on the motorways and the “Roads of Serbia“ mobile phone application.
