Today, July 19 2023, representatives of the Road Traffic Safety Agency, Traffic Police Directorate, PE "Roads of Serbia" and the Auto Moto Association of Serbia continued the successful implementation of the campaign dedicated to increasing traffic safety - "Drive fresh".
Near the "Belgrade" toll station, acting Director of the Agency for Road Traffic Safety Branko Stamatović, Head of the Traffic Police Directorate Slaviša Lakićević, Head of the Public Relations Department of PE "Roads of Serbia" Ljerka Ibrović and General Secretary of AMSS Milan Nikolić appealed to drivers to drive rested and take a break every two hours of travel .
The head of the public relations department of PE "Roads of Serbia", Ljerka Ibrović, pointed out that driver fatigue is one of the biggest causes of traffic accidents and requires special attention from both drivers and the public, because in accidents that occur as a result of fatigue, the chances are 50% higher to result in death or serious bodily injury.
