PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, today, December 14, 2023 a large amount of precipitation is expected in the southwest, south and southeast of Serbia and new snowfall during the night between Friday and Saturday (15/16 of December), as well as on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
According to the warning, on Friday, December 15, 2023 in the hilly and mountainous areas in the southwest, south, southeast, and east of Serbia, snow will fall, which is also expected in the lower areas at the end of the day and during the night, with a drop in temperature. Light snow will fall in these areas on Saturday, December 16, 2023 in the morning and before noon, so in the lower regions there will be the formation of a snow cover, and in the hilly and mountainous regions, the increase of snow cover.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obey speed limits and adjust speed to road conditions.
