JP "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute, on Saturday, November 18, 2023. year, expect cloudy and cold weather with a moderate and strong northwesterly wind that will occasionally have storm surges, which will cause snow drifts to form in hilly and mountainous areas. It will rain in the lower regions, and snow in the hilly and mountainous areas.
According to the warning, more precipitation is expected in the morning and before noon in the Braničevo district, eastern and southeastern Serbia. On the mountains of eastern and southeastern Serbia, 10 to 20 cm of snow is expected.
At the end of the day and during the night, precipitation is expected to stop and the wind will weaken.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obey speed limits and adjust their speed to winter road conditions.
