Good deeds do not go unnoticed, and this fact is supported by the praiseworthy gesture of the employees at the Sector for Toll Collection at the toll station “Niš North”, which, as their colleagues proudly say, restores faith in people!
Namely, on Friday 14, 2023, at the toll station “Niš North”, a toll booth operator, Mr. Radovan Dedić, while working in a cabin for card distribution, noticed somewhere around 12.30 p.m. unusual behavior of several traffic participants who stopped their vehicles, got out of them and looked around the road looking for something.
To find out what was happening, Dedić left the cabin and noticed a larger number of banknotes in denominations of € 50 on the pavement of the toll collection channel and informed the manager, Mr. Predrag Simić.
Dedić and Simić collected a total of € 1000 and handed it over to the head of the Jagodina – Dimitrovgrad Division, Mr. Nenad Stanković, who informed his manager and the authorities of the MIA, so the funds, together with the Report on receipt of found items, were submitted to a police officer for further proceedings.
The Sector for Toll Collection employees once again showed that they confirm their responsibility and devotion to work by reacting timely and properly in a specific and extraordinary situation.
