  • Stopping in the emergency lane
  • Demolition of traffic signage

The campaigns’ slogans – “Don’t block the emergency lane, don’t stop life” and “Don’t destroy a traffic sign – A sign means life"precisely, vividly and clearly speak of fundamentally important information for all traffic participants which PE “Roads of Serbia” realizes as a socially responsible enterprise, managing the state road network in the Republic of Serbia.

The campaign is conducted by the Public Enterprise “Roads of Serbia”, with the support of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Goran Vesić, pointed out in his speech that with a large number of motorways and expressways, the issue of safety inevitably arises as well as the need to do more for prevention and promotion in order to save lives.

“One of the problems we face”, Vesić emphasized, “is that wherever a road is reconstructed or built, citizens come forward with a request to install speed bumps or other marks, because the speed of vehicles is inappropriate, and therefore campaigns like these are very important.”

Vesić has thanked the PE “Roads of Serbia“ for the effort made regarding the preservation of the road network and traffic safety.

Slaviša Lakićević, Head of the Traffic Police Administration at the MIA of the Republic of Serbia has pointed out that repressive measures do not deliver the desired effects and that is why such campaigns are necessary.

Acting Director of PE “Roads of Serbia“, Zoran Drobnjak, thanked the line ministry and the Traffic Police Administration, as well as all the participants in the campaign for support and help and expressed satisfaction for being at the head of the enterprise which has been continuosly engaged and working on the increase of traffic safety for years.

The leader of the PE “Roads of Serbia“ team, Ljerka Ibrović, opening the program of educational campaign promotion, has expressed great pleasure of all campaign participants for improving the traffic safety and acting towards the increase of traffic participants’ awareness by joint work and activities, so that adequate behavior in traffic could save as many human lives as possible.
