PE "Roads of Serbia" appeals to road users to be especially careful when driving and to adjust their speed to road conditions, because, according to the warning of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service, on Friday, November 24, 2023 in the afternoon and evening, a large amount of precipitation is expected in the area from western and southwestern Serbia, through Šumadija and Pomoravlje to the eastern part of Serbia. During the night between Friday and Saturday, November 24/25, 2023, as well as on Saturday morning, November 25, 2023, the precipitation zone will strengthen and will spread further towards the south and southeast of Serbia.
Also, according to the warning, during the night between Friday and Saturday, November 24/25, 2023 in the mountainous areas the rain will turn into wet snow with increased intensity. On Saturday, November 25, 2023, snowfall is expected on the mountains, and with the drop in temperature, the rain will turn into wet snow in the lower areas as well. Snowfall will be the most intense in the southwest, south and east of Serbia, where the formation of a snow cover is expected to be relatively quick in the lower and hilly areas.
Drivers are advised to use winter tires, obay speed limits and adjust their speed to winter road conditions.
